SUMMARY:Moving Paths
DESCRIPTION:Dance can change the course of people’s lives. It can be profoundly healing, empowering, and immensely enjoyable at the same time. Moving Paths is an opportunity to build that kind of resource, in a 7-week journey with the same small group of dancers.\nFor three hours each week, we will engage in movement practices that enable us to be strongly rooted in our physicality, passionately expressive emotionally and open-minded in our perception. Using dance to explore and expand our conscious range of embodiment and presence, we will also use simple boundaried structures designed to help us speak the the truth of our experience from the heart, invaluable for integrating the experiences we have whilst dancing.\nThe work will be a co-creative mix of studying ZeroOne practices, and going with the flow of what actually arises between us as a group. Your full presence and participation will be more than welcome.\nOver time, we can reach a depth of trust in the process of dance, and in the connections between us, that makes it possible to open up to states of being and feeling far more vulnerable and powerful than we may be used to.
