Alive and awake in your body
Open-hearted and authentic in your relationships
Clear and creative in your life-path
On offer here is a wild mix of catalyst, connection, and creativity, giving you the capacity to dive into the heart of the crisis we’re facing collectively and wrestle with your personal piece of it.
This is extremely potent, and not for the faint-hearted. It will get you moving — physically, emotionally, relationally. It will recharge your creative energy and draw you closer to whatever struggles you are having in your life, whilst giving you powerful tools to work through them.
It is not solution-focused so much as truth-focused — taking you into and through the cycles of breakdown and breakthrough that is the nature of transformation.
Not easy, but beautiful in the deepest sense — life-changing — full with the profound alchemy of power and vulnerability that is human nature at its best.
If you’re willing to step in with both feet, whole-hearted and open-minded, my work has the tendency to turn you towards your true calling in life, with a sense of creative freedom and good health that is incredibly satisfying and enjoyable, to become not merely more functional, but beginning to glow with the quiet brilliance that we are all born with.
Adam Barley (UK)
I knew from a very early age that I longed to be a pilgrim. With a first glimpse of the truth aged 17, I set out to find my feet a year later, but naturally, the pathway I found was far more tortuous and difficult than I expected. Years and years of feeling utterly lost.
By some wild grace I found the core vision for ZeroOne via a lesson at school that I never forgot (see the film here) along with a passion for altered states of consciousness and understanding this reality we live in. I bring a deep commitment to the synthesis of radical awakening and artistic expression through movement practice, and a devotion to embodied experience as a 24/7 discipline. I have learnt the hard way that movement alone is not enough; we need to speak the truth in words too. So be it.
Adam Barley is a movement catalyst, author, and the founder of ZeroOne, an evolving mystery school based on embodiment, presence and enquiry. He began studying healing and meditation in the early ’80s, training with Gabrielle Roth in the ’90s to teach the 5Rhythms, and more recently completed Gabor Maté Compassionate Inquiry training. He has built a world-wide reputation for transformative embodiment experiences that combine influences from dance, voicework, tantra, meditation and trauma-informed therapies.
Dance, movement and enquiry for personal and collective evolution
An evolving mystery school wherein we can practise the art of unknowing, and the art of being, through embodiment and enquiry. A place to enter into a state of wonder and awe through movement and dance, and to encounter others who are willing to undertake the same journey without a destination, where the path is all there is.

“It’s amazing how you led us to deep connections with our own bodies and emotions. Your attitude, humour, sensitivity, humanity, wisdom — all this is very inspiring but not only for me. The feedback from the seminar participants was wonderful and touching. I think I finally dared to take the path I love.”
"This was amazing. It showed me something I hadn't seen in more than 10 years of different psychotherapies, and it came clearly. Simple."
"I have really appreciated the freedom of dance in ZeroOne. There is a fine thread, a fine infused framework that is so subtle. There is this creative circle soaked in spirituality, it is gentle yet deep, strong yet subtle."
"I have had a lot of trouble in my life belonging to anything, usually feeling alienated and lonely and weird or freak like. For the first time in my life I felt I wholly belonged to a community and it felt wonderful. I felt so passionately that these were my people and I would do anything for them including killing to protect them. Much like the feeling I have for my kids. It hurt so much to say goodbye but it is so good to feel alive at the same time. So for me that says an enormous amount about the power of your work. I thank you for helping me so much."
